Airlines and Airports at Mumbai, Pune, Goa and Bengaluru Issue Passenger Advisories due to Heavy Rain in the Region

As many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai and Pune are being pounded by heavy showers since last two days and more rain is expected as per IMD forecasts, airports and airlines have issued passenger advisories.
Passengers taking flights from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport have been advised to plan their journeys carefully.
The airport authority has issued a passenger advisory asking travelers to check their flight status with respective airlines before leaving home. With heavy to very heavy rain expected, traffic jams on Mumbai roads are likely, and reaching the airport may take longer than usual.

Akasa Air, has also issued advisory for its passengers taking flights from Pune, Mumbai, Goa and Bengaluru and cautioned flyers about possible delays due to heavy rains.
